AI Processing Disclosure

Status: Draft for reviewDraft date: June 2026Version: 2026-06-draft-1

This page explains, in plain language, when AI processing happens in Script Epic and what is sent where.

When AI processing happens

AI processing happens only when you start an AI action โ€” for example generating or rewriting a scene, building an outline, or running story analysis. You control whether to initiate an AI action. Manual editing, saving, and exporting do not use AI and do not send your content to a provider.

What is sent

When you run an AI action, Script Epic sends the relevant screenplay text and surrounding context (such as the scene, outline, or story details needed for that action) to your connected provider so it can produce a response. Only the context needed for the action is sent.

Who receives it

We do not control how OpenRouter or model providers retain or use requests, and we do not claim they keep zero records or that they never train on data. OpenRouter offers account privacy settings (including data-retention controls) that you manage in your OpenRouter account. Please review them to choose the handling you want.

Disconnecting

Disconnecting OpenRouter in Script Epic removes the connection and credential stored in Script Epic. It may not revoke the credential on OpenRouter's side โ€” manage or revoke that in your OpenRouter account.

About AI output

AI output is generated text. We do not guarantee it is original, accurate, or eligible for copyright protection. Review AI output before relying on it.
